Meet Alicia, Founder and Lead Doula & Herbalist of Evolve In Grace. She serves with a holistic mindset, dedicated to evidence-based care. Her goal is to enrich the birthing process by educating and empowering birthing persons and their loved ones as they evolve to their next stage in life. Alicia is mother to 2 boys, two years of age. Having birthed her twin boys in 2024, Alicia has resumed her work full time and will be at various Farmers Markets for the Summer and Fall of 2026.
Having a lifelong affinity for herbs, she began her birth worker journey during the Covid shutdown. Alicia realized the need for an evidence-based advocate as birthers were laboring and birthing without the comfort of loved ones or an advocate. With the intersections of perinatal health and herbs, Alicia furthered her love of herbs and dove into the education of becoming an herbalist specializing in womens health.
Alicia serves as a private birth doula and will soon accept MassHealth Insurance.Primary care language is English, care in Spanish is also offered. Virtual options are available for prenatal sessions and childbirth education series. Preference is at least 1 in person prenatal session.
Primary birth doula trainings were with accredited National Black Doula Association(2021, 2023), and further birth doula education completed through accredited ProDoula curriculum(2024).
